Netballers with hearts of gold and passion gathered together at Kallang Netball Centre on Sat 10th September 2011 to participate in Brian Niihara Carnival to help raise funds for Bright Vision Hospital. It was a day of fun and social cohesion with a total of 12 teams in Women’s Open, Mixed, and Men’s Open, which is a first in netball history! With pledge cards, registration fee, donations, and prize monies generously given back the winners namely Extremes, NZCC, Kaki Bukit CSC, and Zenith, the net proceeds of $1,234.80 were raised and given to the Hospital by the Organisers. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all players, volunteers, Netball Singapore and Kaki Bukit CSC for giving us the tremendous support, in making our event a successful and enjoyable one!
