FOR BVH IN-PATIENTS
Community Involvement Programme (CIP)
As part of the school curriculum to encourage students to get more involved in community services, students from Xinmin Primary School, Bowen Secondary and Bedok Green Secondary are currently paying a weekly/one time visit to our Nursing Home residents to chit-chat with them and present them with dance and songs. Besides inculcating social values to these students and bridging the gap between the two generations, the CIP also brings lots of joy and anticipation to our residents who keep asking the nurses whether the students will be coming everyday.

We welcome group visits (preferably not more than 30 pax) from organizations/schools/community centres/recreational centres during office hours on weekday and Saturday. Singapore Health Award 2004
BVH has won a Bronze for the Singapore H.E.A.L.T.H. (Helping Employees Achieve Life-Time Health) award 2004 on
7th October 2004 in recognition of the efforts the hospital has made in promoting healthy workplace for its staff.
