We serve the healthcare needs of 1000 new patients a year, with the majority of our patients staying with us for about 1-2 months. Our patients are typically above 50 years old, requiring strong psycho-social support beyond direct medical and nursing care. The team includes: Doctors; Nurses; Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who plan personalised programmes for patients, Speech Therapist, Dietician to ensure our patients have the right diet and nutrition, Medical Social Workers, and Pharmacists.

Working at Bright Vision Hospital is a very satisfying experience. We help many patients get back on their feet after recovery from illness.  It is gratifying to see high-touch care doing as well, if not better than high-tech medical care.

Medical social workers are a valuable part of the healthcare team as we work closely with patients and families to help them meet specific needs. We may have to make decisions that may change a life forever. There are some challenges in working with patients, but it is very rewarding.

Going to work daily feels like I am visiting an extended family. The staff are so warm and are a joy to work with. They express this warmth to patients when they are performing routine daily activities for the patients. This second home is truly where patients feel Respected, have Faith in us, staff give Hope and Compassionate care to patients, ensuring Peace.

To serve in a voluntary welfare organisation has always been a great aspiration in my life. It is meaningful and gives me a sense of satisfaction.
